Germany's Solar PV Expansion Drops Below 800 MW in March

In March 2025, Germany's photovoltaic (PV) expansion experienced a significant decline, with newly installed capacity estimated at approximately 787.2 megawatts (MW), marking the lowest monthly addition since December 2022.

The Federal Network Agency attributes this downturn to a sharp decrease in rooftop installations and a reduction in ground-mounted PV systems.
